Luna Design 2nd Quarter 2009

The brisk pace of business that began in January hasn’t let up and continued to keep us on our toes throughout the year's second quarter. During this time we completed large and complex websites for Volunteer Vancouver (www.volunteervancouver.ca), BC Landscape Architects (www.bcsla.org) as well as some smaller websites and updates.

New website launches include yet another collaborative project with designer Linda Mitsui resulting in the Yvonne Wakabayashi website. Working with Linda and her design, we produced the website in a templated system that allows for simple management and updates and displays the many images of Yvonne’s art. The BC Land Summit took place May 20 – 22. During the days approaching the start of the event, updates for the website came in almost daily as information came it about travel arrangements, workshop information & updates, sponsorships and related information. Now that the event has passed, our next task will be to permanently archive the site with PDF presentations of the events discussions and workshops. (www.bclandsummit.com)

The Kaiser Foundation website received a new section for their new initiative, The Aboriginal People’s Health Initiative and new video highlights. (www.kaiserfoundation.ca)

DC Duby Wild Sweets closes the Chocolate Boutique during the summer to prevent sticky deliveries due to the heat. We took advantage of the opportunity to update the graphics with a new landing page and turned off eCommerce for the chocolate section. Purchases for their culinary elements and multimedia are continuously available throughout the year. (www.dcduby.com)
